“Cooperation with Serbia expands the representation of Oktava and increases the trade between our countries. Our partner is the leader of music retail in Serbia. Oktava microphones will be presented in the company's showrooms, and Player Project will also promote the Russian brand through its own distribution network and online,” said Lyubov Stalnova, Marketing Director of the Oktava plant.
In the new region, consumers will be acquainted with the classic line of Oktava microphones, which includes condenser, ribbon, and tube microphones with a large and narrow diaphragm. Among the most popular Russian models — large-diaphragm condenser microphones MK-220, MK-319, MK-105. Other models will also be presented on the market, including new products – premium condenser microphones MK-115 and MK-117, a vocal dynamic microphone MD-305, and, certainly, sets based on the popular instrumental Oktava microphone –narrow-diaphragm condenser MK-012.
The Russian Trade Representative office in Serbia provided significant support in the issue of Russian products entering the Serbian market. “This deal is very important in terms of diversifying Russian exports to Serbia and finding new niches for Russian products,” said Andrey Khripunov, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Serbia.
According to the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Serbia, the completed contract has a particular value in terms of implementing the national project “International Cooperation and Export”. The project is being implemented from October 2018 till 2024. One of its main goals is to increase Russian non-resource non-energy exports. For economic development, Russian companies with decent potential and opportunities must enter foreign markets freely to increase the trade volume and ensure the growth of mutual investments. In this context, the Trade Representative office is always open and ready to provide comprehensive assistance in bringing Russian business to the market of the Republic of Serbia.
“The microphone market in Serbia is not as well developed as in other countries and still influenced by several major brands. We tried to import many other brands and find a good solution and more profit, but it was not easy. We think that Oktava products are promising for us because it is a brand with a rich history that has preserved the heritage and traditions of electroacoustic production in Russia,” said Nikola Stošic, the General Director of Player Project.
The contract with Serbia is one of the ten major export contracts signed by the Russian manufacturer of electroacoustics with foreign distributors since the beginning of the year. Oktava supplies its developments to Germany, Greece, China, the USA, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Ecuador, Turkey, and other countries. The work with distributors from the Middle East, South America, and Southeast Asia is also active.
